Now gas meters have been applied widely, but some problems inevitably appear during use.
Counting discrepancy/no counting: Gear and micro switch aging or incorrect position; 2. Reed tube failure, resulting in more or less counting or even not counting of the electronic device.
Normally open valve: 1. Low battery power; 2. Reed tube failure caused by its quality or vibration, so that the electromechanical valve can not work.
Normally open valve (no gas, meter blockage): 1. The card is improperly inserted; 2. Meter failure; low battery power;
Long beep: Buzzer damaged
No buzzer: Buzzer short circuit
No card reading: 1. Cardholder oxidation, data line open circuit; 2. Low battery power.
Air leakage (internal leakage, external leakage): 1. Internal leakage: the airtightness of the electromechanical valve when it is closed is called internal leakage. Causes: the valve mouth and the valve cover is not closed tightly, such as burrs or flatness super poor, the valve cover and the valve mouth misalignment or half-open state. 2. External leakage: the air tightness of an electromechanical valve when it is opened is called external leakage. Causes: electromechanical valve push rod and seal ring sealing is not tight; gas gun and valve body connection is not tight; valve body and through and base table connection sealing is not tight.
Replace the battery regularly, otherwise the meter will not be able to supply gas normally. The battery replacement cycle is 3-6 months.
The gas meter will emit a squealing alarm sound when the balance is insufficient. It is a reminder of insufficient balance and the user is required to purchase gas.
The IC card gas meter is currently the most popular smart gas meter. Many users also have some questions for the use of IC card gas meter.
Here are some kinds of situations that IC card gas meter can not be recharged when the card is inserted it:
1. Card inverted or take the wrong card.
2. Insert and remove the card too fast.
3. The card chip has oil stains.
4. There is moisture or foreign matter in the card holder, etc.
5. The card holder is bad.
6. IC card is damaged.
First, the smart gas meter with batteries can not continue to use without electricity. You must replace new batteries with generally four 5 dry batteries. It is recommended to use high quality batteries.
According to the national standard JJG577-2012 "Diaphragm Gas Meter Verification Regulations", the gas meters with a maximum flow rate of not more than 10m³/h are only subject to the first mandatory calibration with a replacement after expiration. The life cycle of gas meters with natural gas as the medium is not more than 10 years, and the service life of gas meters with artificial gas and liquefied petroleum gas as the medium is not more than 6 years.
(1) The battery is low. Open the valve to change the battery.
If the voltage of the gas meter is too low, the valve will automatically shut off. This is the gas meter under-voltage protection function.
(2) There is no gas volume in the gas meter. The user takes the card to the outlets to recharge and then insert it into the gas meter to open the valve.
Smart gas meters are generally in prepaid mode. When the gas volume is used up, the valve will be automatically closed. When the gas volume is insufficient, the gas meter will have a sound prompt. The LCD will display the gas shortage to remind the user to recharge.
(3) There are strong magnetic objects around.
The smart gas meter will automatically shut off the valve when it is attacked by strong magnetism, indicating the corresponding fault code. First remove the strong magnetic objects around the gas meter such as microwave ovens, induction cookers, rice cookers, etc., and then contact the gas company.
(4) The gas meter has an action with alarm. When the gas alarm found gas leak, it not only can issue an alarm prompt, but also link the gas meter to close the valve. Do not turn on the gas, open the window for ventilation, and go outdoors to contact the gas company.
